چکیده

Abstract After single-gas (SG) injection operations in tight oil reservoirs, a significant amount of is still unrecovered. To increase productivity, several sequencing gas techniques have been utilized. Given the scarcity research on multiple-gas alternating schemes, this study propose an optimized triple-alternating-gas (TAG) for improved recovery. The performance TAG process was demonstrated through numerical simulations and comparative analysis. First, reservoir compositional model developed to establish properties composition reservoir; then, suitable combination SG, double (DAG), selected via simulation process. Second, best case parameters were derived. Finally, based recovery factors sweep efficiencies, DAG, performed mechanisms explained. following findings made: (1) DAG provided higher factor than SG economic advantages, CO 2 + CH 4 H S choice (2) results sensitivity analysis showed that critical optimization scheme are production pressures. (3) optimization, efficiency best. This promotes understanding enhanced (EOR) serves as guide field design EOR techniques.

An Experimental Study of Surfactant Alternating CO2 Injection for Enhanced Oil Recovery of Carbonated Reservoir

Core flooding experiments were conducted with the objective of evaluating near miscible surfactant alternating CO2 injection and the effect of surfactant concentrations on gas-oil and water displacements in porous media. The core samples were provided from a low permeability mixed wet oil reservoir at 156 °F and 1900 psia. In addition, very few studies of surfactant adsorption on car...

An Experimental Study of CO2-low Salinity Water Alternating Gas Injection in Sandstone Heavy Oil Reservoirs

Several studies have shown that oil recovery significantly increased by low salinity water flooding (LSWF) in sandstones. However, mechanism of oil recovery improvement is still controversial. CO2 that develops buffer in presence of water is expected as a deterrent factor in LSWF efficiency based on mechanism of IFT reduction due to pH uprising. No bright evidence in literature suppo...
